SEP 08 EVENTS: Glaucoma Week
By the time you read this, Glaucoma Week will have come and gone. The OAA [NSW] office has had pivotal involvement with the main activity of Glaucoma Week; a large-scale public screening and media campaign in the state's south-west, centred around Wagga. Our PR consultant, BIll Pickering, arranged the participation with Glaucoma Australia and Pfizer, the major sponsors of the campaign. More details will be available in the October edition of Contact.
SEP 08 EVENTS: Franchising Anyone?
In response to a lot of interest from members, the Association will be running a franchising seminar on Tuesday, 9 September, from 6:30-8:30pm at the Sydney Marriott Hotel. Bookings are essential, and a registration form is included in the September edition of Contact.
AUG 08 EVENTS: Final Year Student Seminar & Employers' Market
The Final Year Student Seminar and Employers’ Market is being held on Friday, 1 August, 2008 at the Swiss Grand Hotel, Bondi Beach. If any member is interested in attending as a potential employer, please contact Nicole at the OAA[NSW] office on (02) 9712 2199 IMMEDIATELY, as we have very few spaces left! If you can’t be at the seminar but would like us to hand out information on positions that you might have available, please also let Nicole know immediately and we’ll arrange that with you.
